Changes to my study programme

I love the forest engineering degree at the University of Chile, but there are subjects that I do not like, such as personal development, oratory, among others. I think being at the university is very demanding, but that's not why we have to always be thinking about the tasks or reports that we have to deliver, we spend a lot of free time doing things for the university and that displeases me. Another thing that I do not like is that in our summer holidays we have to do compulsory practices and that takes away a lot of my free time.

In spite of that, there are other things that I like a lot, for example the duration of the race, it lasts 5 years but in fourth year you can choose the form to title yourself, doing a magister (one more year), thesis or extended practice.
The other thing that I love is the campus, huge green areas with many types of flora that you can see in one place (here). The infrastructure is another thing that I like, although we do not have "own" rooms, the place is wide and the classes are comfortably done. The casino and the library are also large and we can eat and study in a pleasant atmosphere.
What I think we urgently need is more rooms with computers, and that they teach us to use technological tools to perform in a good way.

I hope the race is renewed, but without neglecting the excellence that we have supposedly come to believe it has.
